A MOM WITH AN IDEA!

THE STORY BEHIND GO-FOR

AN IDEA BECOMES A LEGACY

Years later, I formed GO-FOR Innovations, LLC around the idea my mother first imagined.

And while technology has changed tremendously since she dreamed it up, the problem she recognized hasn't changed at all.

We're busy.

We have careers. Families. Appointments. Responsibilities. Long lists of things that need to get done—and only so many hours in the day.

GO-FOR exists for the things that still require someone to go.

The dry cleaning that needs to be picked up.

The return that's been riding around in your trunk.

The grocery order that's ready across town.

The package you keep meaning to mail.

One errand might only take thirty minutes.

But thirty minutes here, forty-five there, another trip across town...

those pieces of life add up.

That's why at GO-FOR:

YOUR TIME IS THE POINT.

We're not trying to convince you that you can't run your own errands.

Of course you can.

You shouldn't always have to.

GO-FOR handles the running around so you can decide what your time is worth—and where you'd rather spend it.

Some ideas don't disappear. They wait for their time.

GO-FOR Innovations began with an idea from my mother.

My mom was a computer programmer for more than 20 years—a woman who understood technology, but more importantly, understood people.

Years ago, she had an idea.

What if there were a simple way to send someone to handle the everyday errands you didn't have time to do yourself?

Pick something up.
Drop something off.
Make a return.
Handle the running around.

She called the idea a “go-fer.”

The concept was simple: when life was busy, you could send the task to someone else—and get a little piece of your day back.

At the time, the technology and marketplace we know today didn't really exist. There were no apps on every phone connecting people to rides, meals, groceries, and everyday services at the touch of a button.

But my mother could already see where the world was going.

She never got the opportunity to build the idea herself.

So I did...

FOR MOM.

GO-FOR may be my company.

But the idea was hers first.

Building it is my way of taking something my mother imagined years ago and giving it the opportunity to exist in the world.

Every GO-FOR Run carries a little piece of that idea forward.

A daughter finishing something her mother started.

An idea becoming a company.

And a company becoming part of her legacy.

SEND IT. WE GO-FOR IT.
